Se-no provides a smartphone app that automatically awards "visit points" to members

Se-no, which operates eight brands including VANQUISH, has released the "C Members App," a dedicated smartphone app that automatically awards "store visit points" to members of its "C Members" point program, which is shared between its 21 directly managed stores and its online shop.

The dedicated app uses the "PoiCa Sensor" developed by Insight Plus. Customers can automatically earn "store visit points" simply by entering a store with a smartphone with the app installed. Existing similar services require customers to present their point card or launch a smartphone app to measure their location, which is a cumbersome process.

The system combines a smartphone app with proximity detection technology. Specifically, a "PoiCa Sensor" installed in the store detects the customer's smartphone and notifies the store of the customer's membership ID. The store then receives a push notification informing the customer that the store visit points have been issued. When the customer taps the push notification, the dedicated app launches, allowing them to check their earned points and receive notifications from the store. Once you confirm, you will have completed earning your "Visit Points."

In addition to the traditional points system based on purchase amount, automatically awarded "Visit Points" allow for benefits to be offered based on frequency of visits, which is expected to increase customer intimacy. In addition to the "Visit Points" function, the dedicated app also has a variety of other functions, such as displaying membership card barcodes, checking point balances, scanning product barcodes, personal pages, and online shopping.
