Tamori and Daiki Tsuneta, two creative minds who meet to embody Bottega Veneta's "initials are enough" aesthetic

Aug 21, 2025
Bottega Veneta has announced its Japan-exclusive campaign, "When your own initials are enough." The campaign features two artists representing Japanese culture, Tamori and Daiki Tsuneta. Their collaboration, featuring two figures from different generations and disciplines, once again highlights the brand's underlying philosophy of "celebrating individuality."

The campaign visuals were created by photographer Tomoyuki Kawakami. The image of the two men conversing evokes respect for dialogue that transcends generations. Shots featuring the pair holding instruments speak to the history of how cultures have intersected and evolved through music, as well as the background to the two men's own creations.

While these two have long been in the spotlight on stage, this time they will quietly take their place as "spectators." Their gaze intersects with Bottega Veneta's aesthetics of "resonance and difference," "individuality and community," and "inheritance and innovation."

Also noteworthy is the release of an original song by Tsuneda. This tribal song, which references the brand's slogan, will be released exclusively on vinyl cassette and will be available digitally from August 18th. In this digital age, the brand's philosophy of valuing craft and serenity is reflected in this choice of format.

"When your own initials are enough" is the enduring motto of Bottega Veneta since its founding 50 years ago. It is a philosophy that quietly highlights the inner confidence and aesthetic sense while eschewing excessive decoration, and it is also an attitude that powerfully celebrates the individuality of those who wear the brand. This campaign once again presents this philosophy through the presence of two artists. The dialogue woven by overlapping different voices eloquently speaks to the "power of encounter and exchange" that Bottega Veneta values, and its "will to celebrate individuality."
