Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Commercial Management held a preview on the 8th to unveil the full details of Iidabashi Sakura Terrace, a commercial zone that will occupy the first to third floors of Iidabashi Grand Bloom, an office and commercial building currently under development in front of Iidabashi Station, ahead of its grand opening on October 10th.
The facility will feature a lineup of 25 stores, including new types of businesses. It will provide a "restful space" that delivers "convenience, fun, and delicious food" to people living and working in the area. The terrace seating at the restaurant and cafe on the second floor offers a view of Gaien Park while you dine. On the first floor, Market Street, where supermarkets like Seijo Ishii have already opened, is the newest addition to the main street, the bakery shop Panis da Vinci, developed by Tomizawa Shoten. Featuring a luxurious interior inspired by Italy, the store offers a wide selection of hard goods and pastries, as well as freshly baked, delicious, handmade bread. According to the store's staff, the cream buns and croissants are especially recommended. On the second floor, Canal Terrace, a food-focused floor is home to four new establishments: American cafe and diner PCH CAFE BAR DINE, Italian meat restaurant Trattoria Gran Bocca, Italian cuisine and wine restaurant Luccollina, and oyster bistro Kaigara-so. PCH Cafe Verdine offers West Coast and Hawaiian-inspired cuisine and a spacious, open interior with comfortable sofa seating. Enjoy your meal while taking in the views from the glass-walled restaurant. Trattoria Grand Pocca is a sister restaurant of Kitasando's popular Italian restaurant, Trattoria Tanta Bocca, and serves juicy, hearty dishes, primarily featuring whole-cow A5 Wagyu beef. Luccolina, the first restaurant developed by import trading company Hikarigaoka Kosan, boasts dishes and wines made with directly imported olive oil. Counter seating is available for busy businessmen, offering authentic espresso (160 yen). Also noteworthy is Chun Shui Tang, a Taiwanese cafe that made waves when it arrived in Japan last year, often drawing long lines at its Omotesando locations. The Iidabashi store is the fourth, and to coincide with its opening, the noodle sets that began being offered at other stores this summer are being expanded. "For busy office workers, light noodles are perfect for lunch. Our store is the only one in Japan that serves hot tapioca drinks, so we hope you'll enjoy them to warm up in the winter," said a store representative.
The "Casual Dining" area on the third floor features dinner options that can also be used for banquets, such as Hakata Motsunabe Yamaya, Yakiniku Honpo Pure, and Gyoza Minmin, which serve local Hakata cuisine.
The facility also houses a fitness club, music school, post office, and clinic on the first floor, making it a commercial facility rooted in the local community, in addition to restaurants.
