Isetan Shinjuku will be holding "Chew Meat 2021 - Love It by Cut" from February 17th to 23rd, 2021, at the Food Collection on the first basement floor of the main building. The popular meat-focused event, "Chew Meat," is now in its sixth year, and this year's theme is "Chew Meat by Cut, Savoring the Flavor of Meat," where you can enjoy a variety of cuts of beef, pork, chicken, and game (duck, horse, and boar) cooked and processed using the optimal methods by professionals. Twelve stores will be gathering together, offering a wide variety of flavorful cuts of meat, from classics like beef, pork, and chicken, beloved by meat lovers, to rarer cuts like wild game (duck, horse, and boar), which has seen a steady increase in popularity in recent years. This seven-day event is sure to be a must-see for meat lovers. Be sure to savor the flavor!

Daikichi Shoten
This long-established Omi beef specialty store has been serving Omi beef since its founding in 1896. Owning its own ranch, the fourth-generation president personally selects calves for fattening. The company handles everything from fattening to processing and sales of Japan's oldest brand of Omi beef. This Japanese-flavored roast beef is marinated overnight in soy sauce aged for over two years in natural brewing vats, made by a long-established local brewery, and then grilled. This premium roast beef is made using rare cuts only available at specialty shops, such as misuji, ichibo, and chateaubriand.
