■About the farm and fruit
・Dekopon grown at Yamagami Farm in Kagoshima

Yamagami Farm's orchard is located in the northern part of Nagashima Town, the northernmost part of Kagoshima Prefecture, within the Unzen-Amakusa National Park Special Zone. It has 28 greenhouses and grows unheated fruit on a total of 43 ares. In addition to the Dekopon used at Chocolate Library, they grow many other citrus fruits such as Satsuma mandarins, Ponkan mandarins, sour pomelo, kumquats, Beni Amanatsu oranges, and Iyokan oranges. Their motto is to produce delicious mandarin oranges, and the orchard owner is constantly patrolling the orchard, carefully creating a pleasant environment.

- Strawberries grown by Mikamo Farm, Tokushima

Mima City, Tokushima Prefecture, where Mikamo Farm is located, is a town full of history and charm, blessed with abundant nature and numerous cultural assets. The Yoshino River, one of the three great rivers of Shikoku, flows east to west through the center of the city, and many rivers flow into it, including the Anabuki River, said to be the cleanest river in Japan. The area is mostly mountainous, with the Asan Mountains to the north and Mount Tsurugi to the south, and around 80% of the total area is covered by forest, making it a region of beautiful nature surrounded by pure water and lush greenery. It is in this rich natural environment that the Asukarubee strawberries used in Chocolate Library are grown.
