Hugo & Victor, led by genius pastry chefs, opens Ginza store

Parisian luxury sweets brand HUGO & VICTOR will open its fourth Tokyo store, the Ginza store, on the first floor of Marronnier Gate Ginza 2, on March 15th.

Founded by Hugues Pouget, a chef pastry chef with a background at Laduree and other establishments, HUGO & VICTOR is one of the most talked-about patisserie and chocolate shops in Paris, having collaborated with numerous luxury brands. Hugues, who is also known as a genius, places great importance on selecting ingredients, using seasonal fruits and carefully selected vegetables to transform classic recipes into innovative designs, continuing to offer innovative and creative sweets. The shop is a takeout specialty store and will offer a wide range of products, including Japan-exclusive items such as Shortcake Fraise (800 yen), a shortcake made with financier dough, and soft serve ice cream (500 yen) made with 70% cacao bitter chocolate, as well as chocolates, fresh cakes, financiers, sablés, macarons, drinks, and more, including Choux Pistachio (700 yen, released on April 1st), which features pistachio cream and financier dough accented with red fruit.

In addition, to commemorate the opening of the shop, a limited edition coffret box (2,759 yen) containing an assortment of chocolates, sablés oranges, nature financiers with the store's logo, and chocolate financiers will be sold in limited quantities of 500.
