
From March 17th to April 23rd, Roppongi Hills will be offering hearty sandwich menus at a total of 17 restaurants and cafes under the theme "Discover Spring at Roppongi Hills."
Sandwich specialty shop King George will be selling a spring-like sandwich, "Chicken Walnut & Apple" (1,500 yen including tax), which combines chicken with cottage cheese, walnuts, and apple, and "Rucola Pesto Sprout" (1,500 yen including tax), which is a sandwich of arugula, pastrami turkey, and homemade garlic basil sauce, with a limit of 25 sandwiches per day. Other dishes include AS Classics Diner's "Spring Cobb Salad Sandwich" (1,404 yen including tax, limited to 30 per day) with spring onions and spring cabbage, La Boutique de Joel Robuchon's "Shrimp and Asparagus Tartar Sandwich" (799 yen including tax, limited to 15-25 per day) with homemade tartar sauce, Brasserie Le Duc's "Spanish Mackerel, Sakura Shrimp and Watercress Sandwich" (1,400 yen including tax, limited to 10 per day) with spicy tomato fondue tartar sauce, Elle Cafe's "Spring Vegetable & Basil Chicken Sandwich" (994 yen including tax), Obica Mozzarella Bar's "Panini Bistecca" with beef rib sauce (2,800 yen including tax, limited to 5 per day), and Grand Hyatt Tokyo Oak. The Crispy Pork Loin Sandwich (2,916 yen including tax, excluding service charge, limited to 10 servings per day) appears from the door.
Teppanyaki Kaikaya, where you can enjoy carefully selected Japanese beef and seafood in a casual setting, will be introducing the Colorful Vegetable and Yakiniku Rice Roll (900 yen including tax, limited to 20 servings per day), a rolled-up version of their signature grilled meat, seasonal spring vegetables, and rice. Other unique items on offer include the "Egg-filled Protein Burrito" from Eggcellent, which you can dip in your choice of homemade salsa sauce (1,000 yen including tax / 300 yen including tax with a drink set / 500 yen including tax with an alcohol set), the fluffy and chewy "Colorful Sandwich" from Moroko Bar (1,400 yen including tax), the "Beef Tendon and Avocado Banh Mi Sandwich" from Green Asia (1,500 yen including tax / eat-in, 1,200 yen including tax / take-out, limited to 10 servings per day), and the Chinese restaurant Golden Tiger's Chinese-style crepe "GOLDEN TIGER Special Roast Beef Rice Cracker" (680 yen including tax, limited to 20 servings per day).
As a colorful wrap sandwich, the new Finnish Kitchen Taro, which opened on March 1st, will be offering the "Lefse Sandwich" (900 yen including tax, limited to 15 servings per day), a spring-like wrap sandwich made with chicken, salmon, egg and vegetables sandwiched between Finnish thin bread "Lefse". Cafe Crepe will also be selling the "Wagyu Asparagus Quinoa Galette Set" (1,500 yen including tax/drink and dessert included, limited to 10 servings per day). However, if you make a reservation in advance, you can order up to 10 servings per day. Mr. Farmer Roppongi will be selling the "SAKURA Blooming Wrap Roll" (1,566 yen including tax, limited to 15 servings per day). For those with a sweet tooth, the lineup includes the "Sakura Strawberry Waffle Sandwich" (980 yen including tax, limited to 20 per day), a waffle from Mori Salvatore filled with cherry blossom-flavored mascarpone and custard cream, and from Creme de la Creme, the "Fresh Fruit and Custard Choux Mille-feuille" (1,620 yen including tax, limited to 10 per day), a treat only available at a cream puff specialty store.
