Longchamp is pleased to announce its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, "Tres Paris - A Celebration of the Modern Parisian Woman." Inspired by the modern Parisian woman, the collection captures her inherent femininity and the hidden energy that allows her to express herself effortlessly, in a total of 37 looks.

Artistic Director Sophie Delafontaine said, "When designing the Spring/Summer 2021 collection, I decided to distance myself slightly from the so-called 'refined' style that is the specialty of classic Parisian women. The bold and slightly offbeat style common to the entire collection expresses the cheeky spirit of modern Parisian women who 'dare to stray from the mainstream and live at their own pace,' while at the same time blending in the casualness and unrestrainedness that are the hallmarks of Longchamp's style."

This collection was influenced by modern Parisian women living in Paris, the birthplace of the Maison, as well as the work of three artists. The collection's scattered metallic finishes and strikingly vibrant colors pay homage to California-born contemporary artist James Turrell. Turrell, an artist who focuses on light and space, focuses on the human perception of light, creating numerous installations that draw attention to the presence of light, something that often goes unnoticed in everyday life. The contrasting colors of coral and dusky orange-pink are inspired by the work of Parisian sculptor Louise Bourgeois and Turin-born outsider artist Carol Lama. While Bourgeois and Lama work in different fields, both women artists have embraced femininity as a driving force behind their creations.

<Ready-to-Wear>
This collection, dedicated to Parisian women, features bold macramé on skirts, tops, and shirt fronts, creating a playful and casual atmosphere. The distinctive mesh pattern also appears as a print on items, bags and accessories. The overall ready-to-wear collection will include dynamic sportswear such as zip-up sweatshirts and jogger pants, as well as romantic looks featuring eye-catching British embroidery, as if to express the duality and femininity of the Longchamp woman.
I wanted to incorporate tailored pieces inspired by a sophisticated man's wardrobe to bring out a sensual side. I decided to create a more feminine finish by deliberately using vibrant colors and playing with materials, including floral prints." (Sophie Delafontaine)

Bag Collection>
Le Pliage(R)
The new releases from this iconic collection, which represents the Maison, are crafted from gorgeous metallic canvas, giving it a shiny look that is perfect for this season. The bag continues to be available in a wide range of sizes, from nano to mega, and the nano size in particular can be worn around the neck for a striking look. The Spring/Summer 2021 collection also sees the launch of unique and offbeat new pieces in collaboration with FILT, a French manufacturer renowned for its cotton net bags. This new bag features a cotton mesh body paired with Le Pliage(R) Russian leather handles and flaps, evolving into the ultimate tote bag to accentuate your summer outfit.

Mailbox
The Mailbox collection, newly introduced in the Fall/Winter 2020 collection, is being redesigned. This season, the bag is finished in a bold style, featuring the LGP monogram print featuring Longchamp's nine letters boldly combined with denim material across the entire bag, while crocodile-embossed burnished leather is used for the transitional sections, creating a striking contrast.

Rozo and Longchamp 1980
The Rozo, launched in 1993, the same year as Le Pliage(R), and the Longchamp 1980, a revival of a bag released in 1980, are two of the brand's cornerstones. This season, it comes in two styles: a smooth vinyl style and crocodile-embossed leather.

New Collection "Brioche"
Debuting this summer, this crossbody bag features a fluffy silhouette reminiscent of the Parisian sweet buns so beloved. Crafted from soft, padded leather with an adjustable chain, it's packed with elements that could make it the it bag of the future.
"I wanted to design a new, authentic collection that makes use of the savoir-faire that the Maison is proud of. I aimed to create bags that combine high durability with excellent design, so that they can be used cherished for many years to come." (Sophie Delafontaine)

Longchamp's Spring/Summer 2021 collection, "Trégrave;s Paris - A tribute to the modern Parisian woman", is based on Sophie Delafontaine's spirit of "Less is more," and proposes a wardrobe that is relaxed and easygoing, reminiscent of the modern Parisian woman.
