Enjoy Princi®'s New Menu This Fall

How about Princi®'s autumn flavors, combining autumn flavors with Italian culinary culture?
Clockwise from top: "Ciabatta Sandwich Tuna & Zucca" (760 yen), "Zucca & Spinach" (880 yen), "Cornetti Marrone Cassis" (380 yen), "Beccafico" (880 yen)

Princi®'s signature cornetti is available in seasonal flavors each season. This time, we're introducing seasonal recipes using chestnuts, an essential autumn flavor not only in Japan but also in Italy.

The "Cornetti Marrone Cassis" combines the sweet and sour flavor of chestnuts to enhance the taste of chestnuts. The crunch of the cornetti, the flavor of cultured butter, and the subtle tartness of the cassis are followed by the rich flavor of chestnut cream, creating a luxurious, dessert-like cornetti.

The seasonal sandwich, "Tuna & Zucca" features a salad of tuna, steamed pumpkin, and shiitake mushrooms sautéed in olive oil, sandwiched between ciabatta.

Other seasonal dishes worth checking out include the colorful "Zucca & Spinach" salad, perfect with bread at lunchtime, and "Beccafico," a Sicilian dish from southern Italy, made by filling sardines and wrapping them in herb breadcrumbs and pine nuts before baking.

Inspired by traditional Italian sweets.

Princi®'s desserts, one of its charms, also feature an autumn menu. "Monte Bianco" and "Crostata Pesca Rossa" are inspired by traditional Italian sweets.

"Monte Bianco" uses chestnuts, a flavor of autumn, and is a dish made by layering marron crème d'amandes (chestnut-flavored paste) on top of a tart crust, then topping that with a generous amount of chestnut cream mixed with chestnuts, followed by fresh cream mixed with chestnut puree, and then more fresh cream, and finishing with a cocoa powder topping. It is a cake that allows you to fully enjoy the taste of chestnuts, layering various chestnuts with different textures and flavors.

"Crostata Pesca Rossa" is a dessert made by baking a tart crust topped with plenty of sweet and sour red peaches simmered in red peach puree and syrup in the oven. Enjoy the sweet and sour fruity taste of this vibrant red peach tart, reminiscent of an autumn sunset.

Perfect for treating yourself or enjoying a coffee at home!
Four types of tarts are now available, allowing you to enjoy a little bit of each flavor.
