Jun 16, 2020
Sanyo Shokai's women's brand, CAST:, debuted in Fall/Winter 2019. Based on the concept of "clothes for acting out the story of life," the brand offers a diverse range of fashion items under one brand, catering to today's diverse age. In addition to selling apparel, the flagship store, CAST: Shibuya, also features the CAST: CAFE, offering unique and visually appealing drinks, including "Actress Drinks" made with ingredients believed to be beneficial for women's beauty and health. For Summer 2020, the "Actress Drinks" will include three types of lemonade and two varieties of amazake and banana juice, offering beauty and health benefits for fashion-loving women. Additionally, a new menu item, a rich brown sugar matcha frappe incorporating a Japanese flavor, will be introduced.

■CAST: CAFÉ "Drinks" Summer 2020 Menu Overview

1. 3 types of lemonade (650 yen each + tax)
Last year we only had one type of lemonade, "Blue Lemonade," made with “butterfly pea”, but due to popular demand we have expanded the variety to three this season. The chopped lemon peel adds a nice accent to both the taste and texture.

*Blue Lemonade
Lemonade made with “butterfly pea”, a herb beloved in Thailand for its beauty benefits such as anti-aging and whitening properties. When you stir it with a straw, the clear blue transforms into a fleeting purple, making it a drink with a unique appearance.

*Rosehip Lemonade
A lemonade made with rose fruit "rosehips" that has a striking bright red color.
Rosehips are so rich in vitamin C that they are also known as a "vitamin C bomb," and are expected to have skin-beautifying effects.

*Sparkling Lemonade
A refreshing lemonade made with carbonated water. The perfect drink for a hot summer day. We also recommend topping it with lemon sorbet or vanilla ice cream (¥150 + tax).

2. Amazake & Banana Juice (2 types)

A drink that combines amazake, which is often referred to as a "drinkable IV drip," with bananas, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber and are low in calories.

*Amazake & Beetroot Banana Juice
To the above "Amazake & Banana Juice," we have added "beets," a talented vegetable that is rich in iron, minerals, and vitamins. It is characterized by its vivid red color.

*Rich Brown Sugar Matcha Frappe
A Japanese-flavored drink with an exquisite balance of bittersweet matcha and rich brown sugar syrup. The moderate sweetness allows the flavor of the matcha to stand out, so you won't get bored of it until the very end. It has no peculiar taste and is definitely a drink you should try.
