National Department Store, which operates the popular chef subscription service "PostFoods!", has begun stocking "Sbrisolina," a regional Italian confectionery designed and produced by Acquolina, a popular gelateria in Yutenji.



"Sbrisolona," a regional confectionery beloved mainly in the Lombardy and Veneto regions of Northern Italy, is baked with nuts and corn flour, and is a traditional dish that is crumbly, crispy, and has a simple, rustic flavor that allows you to taste the deep flavor of the ingredients. These baked goods, made with generous amounts of pistachios and hazelnuts sourced directly from Italy for use in Acquolina's gelato, are carefully baked one by one in our Yutenji workshop, paying homage to tradition. The name "Zubrisolina" is a play on the traditional Italian confectionery "Zubrisolina" and our store name, Acquolina, and we are introducing them to Japanese customers under the beautiful name "Zubrisolina."




As the name suggests, the confectionery crumbles easily and crumbles easily. The flavor of butter, the flaky texture of nuts, and the crunchy texture of corn flour change depending on where you eat it, making it a timeless treat, truly worthy of this traditional Italian confectionery.
