This year's Matcha Fair will feature special products made with matcha from Uji, Kyoto. Among them, the "Matcha and White Chocolate Viennois" (280 yen) is an even more delicious "Viennois" made with Belgian beet sugar, known for its mild sweetness and rich, powerful flavor. By kneading in Uji matcha, it has been baked into a fragrant, vibrantly colored dough. A generous amount of original milk cream blended with white chocolate is then squeezed on top, creating a dish that harmonizes the deep flavor of matcha with the gentle sweetness of the milk cream.
