GINZA MUSIC BAR opened in Ginza, Tokyo in 2014. It is neither a club nor a traditional record bar, and has offered a unique music experience. In August 2025, it finally opened its second location in Shijo Kiyamachi, Kyoto. This unique space, which has captivated guests from Japan and abroad, will write a new chapter in Kyoto, a city of history and innovation.

A new music bar born in Ginza
"GINZA MUSIC BAR" was started by music producer Osawa Shinichi and "COFFEE" producer Toba Nobuhiro. Nestled in the Ginza nightlife, the space functions as an urban salon where comfortable conversation and drinks mingle, centered around vinyl records and hi-fi audio. Attracting music fans from all over the world, it has offered a new option for Tokyo's nightlife.

A new chapter in Shijo Kiyamachi, Kyoto
The setting for our second store is Shijo Kiyamachi, Kyoto, an area where tradition and modernity coexist. Located in an area where tourist and local cultures intersect, our new store is open from midday until late at night, welcoming a diverse range of guests at any time of the day. More than just a place to go out at night, we aim to become the new face of Kyoto as a "cultural salon" that combines music, food, and conversation.

Attention to Acoustics and Archives
The bar's greatest attraction is its thorough acoustic design. The system, which combines proprietary speakers with vintage equipment, delivers a delicate yet powerful sound. In addition, the walls are covered with over 7,000 vinyl records collected from all over the world, and guests are greeted with a different playlist each day. The Kyoto branch further refines the bar's definition of being "neither a club nor a record bar."

Food that stimulates the senses
At our Kyoto store, food is as important as music. We offer a new gastronomy that combines Mexican cuisine with bistro culture, allowing you to enjoy the meal on the same level as the music. In addition, our sushi counter, "THE OMAKASE," with seating for only six, offers an omakase course that evokes the traditions of Kyoto. Enjoy a luxurious and profound time as sound and flavors resonate with each other.

"Night design" viewed from a fashion perspective
"GINZA MUSIC BAR KYOTO" is not only a music space, but also a place for lifestyle design. The aesthetic sense embodied in every detail, from the acoustics and interior to the presentation of the food, is truly fashionable. While rooted in the city of Kyoto, it incorporates modern sensibilities to present a new "night style."

Towards a cultural hub for a new era
The challenge that began in Ginza has evolved even further on the stage of Kyoto. As a crossroads where Japanese tradition meets global fashion, GINZA MUSIC BAR KYOTO is sure to have a major presence in the cultural scene of the future.
