Hotel New Otani Makuhari will be hosting a "Premium Sweets Collection" buffet-style offering of sweets from Pâtisserie SATSUKI and PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS for one day only on January 13, 2020.

Pierre Hermé continues to lead the pâtisserie world and boasts overwhelming status. His own first pastry shop in the world opened 21 years ago at Hotel New Otani (Tokyo). At the same time, Shinsuke Nakajima, who was appointed chef patissier at Hotel New Otani, opened Pâtisserie SATSUKI. They have continued to delight and inspire with numerous popular creations, including an original collection that expresses familiar ingredients with a rich imagination, and a "Super Series" that generously uses the finest ingredients.
At this event, you can enjoy sweets from these two brands in buffet format.

The lineup includes Pierre Hermé Paris's signature "De Mille-Feuille," featuring layers of caramelized, flaky pie crust topped with praline feuillete and praline-flavored mousseline, as well as "Cheesecake Labelle et Azuki," an azuki bean and matcha cheesecake created to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the opening of Hotel New Otani Tokyo. Also available in Nakajima Shinsuke's Super Sweets series are this year's new "Super Mont Blanc," the "Extra Super Melon Shortcake" made with a single Shizuoka muskmelon, squeezed from a single tree for concentrated flavor, and the "Extra Amaou Shortcake" generously filled with Hakata Amaou strawberries. These and other exquisite sweets, each priced at over 3,000 yen, will be available in store. This year's all-time favorite, the "Basque Cheesecake," will also be available. The lineup will also include original sandwiches made with hotel-made bread and the popular soy milk curry soba. For reservations and details, please visit the official website (https://www.newotani.co.jp/makuhari/event/2020/premium-sweets-collection/). Don't miss out on this ultimate sweets buffet, only possible at Hotel New Otani.
