Hilton Tokyo's strawberry dessert buffet will be themed around the world of graceful ballerinas this year

Event Date:2019.12.26

The Marble Lounge on the first floor of Hilton Tokyo will be hosting its annual Strawberry Dessert Buffet from December 26th until late March 2020. This year's theme is "Strawberry Prima," and approximately 30 new strawberry desserts will be available.

This year's theme is "Strawberry Prima," and shiny strawberry sweets will represent ballerinas gracefully dancing on stage. In a venue where the sweet and sour scent of strawberries and the soft powder pink and white fur will create a romantic atmosphere, you can enjoy approximately 30 new strawberry desserts and light meals along with approximately 20 types of drinks. As a new service, ballerina-style staff will roam the restaurant, offering a daily special menu not available at the buffet. In addition to the regular dessert buffet plan, a "Soloist" plan, limited to one person, will also be available. A strawberry cushion and a hearty "strawberry milk" will be served, limited to 10 people per day.

"Strawberry Prima"
The new "Strawberry Prima" strawberry tart, always the most popular every year, features a refreshingly tart rhubarb-infused custard cream topped with a generous amount of large strawberries, and sits majestically on the buffet table. The delicate peach-flavored whipped cream adds an accent, reminiscent of a ballerina's tutu. "Wake-up Kiss"
The classic strawberry shortcake, "Wake-up Kiss," comes in rose pink, inspired by Sleeping Beauty. The delicate rose-scented sponge cake and strawberry layer is gently covered in pink whipped cream and topped with a macaron.

A wide variety of other strawberry cakes will also be available, including "Ballet Shoes," a crispy pie topped with marshmallows, roasted strawberries, and fresh strawberries; and "Strawberry Swan," a strawberry mousse topped with coconut flakes and marshmallows, resembling a swan's hair ornament.

Small-portion sweets and glass desserts inspired by the prima ballerina's dance ensemble feature comical cats vying for the title. A selection of treats includes the "Post-Lesson Reward Parfait," a golden marriage of raw chocolate, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream; the cute, smooth and round "Strawberry Pirouette"; and the "Baby Ballerina Religieuse," a fairy-pink choux pastry filled with cream.

Also available are three types of chocolate fountains that pair perfectly with strawberries, newly introduced cotton candy, and light meals such as sandwiches and pasta. Drinks include various coffees and 10 varieties of tea from Ronnefeldt, a luxury German tea brand. In addition to the classic Earl Grey and Assam teas, you can also enjoy desserts such as "Winter Dream," a blend of rooibos, orange peel, and cinnamon.

Spend a romantic tea time immersed in the world of beautiful ballerinas, enveloped in soft pink and fluffy surroundings.
