The first Tokyo store of tapioca cheese tea drink stand "TAPiCi" will open in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on December 8th.
TapiCi is popular for its tea brewed from carefully selected tea leaves, moist and chewy fresh tapioca imported from Taiwan, and rich, homemade cheese milk foam. Since opening its first store in Japan in the Namba Akichi shopping complex in Namba, Osaka in May 2019, it has been garnering attention as a new spot for tapioca enthusiasts. This time, the long-awaited first Tokyo store will be located on the first basement floor of Tobu Ikebukuro Station.
Hot tapioca is also recommended for this time of year. As it's located underground, it's open until 10pm on weekdays, which is great. Be sure to stop by!
