SAKE STORM COWBOY®, a Japanese sake produced by creative director NIGO® and musician Pharrell Williams, is being sold in advance in the Kanto region from October 16th to November 15th at Iki no Za Washu on the first basement floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
To commemorate the Kanto region advance sale, NIGO® and Pharrell Williams visited Isetan Shinjuku and performed a sake barrel opening ceremony.

A mirror suddenly opened and fell into the barrel, splashing sake onto the two men's faces.

"SAKE STORM COWBOY® was born two years ago when Pharrell Williams visited Japan and NIGO® recommended a sake from Omine Sake Brewery in Yamaguchi Prefecture, a sake brewery owned by an acquaintance of his. Working in partnership with Omine Sake Brewery, the product was developed through repeated trial and error over the course of two years. Aiming to sell the product both domestically and internationally, the company is pursuing a flavor that will be enjoyed by both Japanese and international customers.

SAKE STORM COWBOY® JUNMAI DAIGINJO, with its mellow aroma of white peach and the lustrous sweetness of rice, is recommended not only as a pre-meal drink but also as a drink with food. It pairs beautifully with delicate dishes such as sushi and French cuisine. On the other hand, "SAKE STORM COWBOY® JUNMAI" has a juicy flavor that combines the sweet and sour taste of Muscat grapes with the strength of rice, allowing you to enjoy the umami that only pure rice sake can offer when paired with white fish, sashimi, and seasonal dishes.
