Hanshin Umeda Main Store will be holding its second annual popular event, "Pudding Holiday," from March 1st to March 14th at the Food Festival Terrace on the first floor. The presenter for this event will be Ryuhei Pudding, chairman of the International Pudding Association. Under the motto, "Pudding: The Sweets of Life, Bringing Smiles to the World," the association promotes Japanese pudding to the world, including local puddings from each of Japan's 47 prefectures. A wide variety of puddings, including freshly made, warm puddings and regional puddings that showcase the unique characteristics of each region, selected by this pudding connoisseur, will be on display. The rice pudding, made with flour from Koshihikari rice grown in-house, won the Grand Prix in the cooking and processing category at the Shiga competition of "Japan's Treasures in 2022" and the judges' special award at the national competition. It's definitely worth trying!

It features original powdered caramel inspired by the "sand of Tottori, Tottori Sand Dunes." Drizzle the caramel little by little over the two-layered smooth pudding to enjoy the harmony of the crunchy texture and the creamy pudding.
