Koe will open the first store of its new donut factory, "koe donuts," in Kyoto on March 21st.

With the keywords "organic," "naturally derived," and "locally produced for local consumption," the store uses carefully selected ingredients such as homemade organic whole wheat flour, organic granulated sugar, Miyama milk from Miyama, Kyoto, domestic rice oil, and "beautiful eggs" from Miyama, Kyoto, to provide traditional Japanese donuts that are good for both the body and the environment.

The eat-in menu features a lineup of five types, including the "Donut Melt," a new type of donut that melts softly in your mouth. There are 37 types of take-out donuts available, including the Japanese-inspired "Hojicha," "Mitarashi Cruller," and "Matcha Old Fashioned," for a total of 42 different donuts to enjoy.
 "Cheese Tapioca Tea" (680-730 yen)

Don't miss the drink menu that pairs perfectly with the donuts, including the photogenic new-concept sweet tea "Cheese Tapioca Tea," which combines tea and tapioca made with carefully selected tea leaves with fluffy cheese mousse, as well as Rainforest Alliance certified coffee, tea from Kyoto, and organic drinks.

Collaboration goods with illustrator Yu Nagaba, who created the store's character, "Dr. Donut," will also be on sale. In keeping with Koe's brand philosophy of being "ethical," the range will include t-shirts and tote bags made from organic cotton, as well as coffee tumblers and mugs made with environmental considerations.
