Boul'ange is a boulangerie that offers beautifully-looking breads, based on authentic French bread-making techniques and combining carefully selected flour from around the world with seasonal ingredients that arrive each season.
As a limited-time spring product, from March 1st they will be releasing a lineup of colorful new products using seasonal ingredients, such as spring vegetables like new onions and rape blossoms, as well as cherry shrimp and whitebait. Seasonal Japanese ingredients are scattered throughout the bread, including "Spring Vegetable Focaccia" made with eight kinds of spring vegetables, "Sakura Shrimp and Asparagus" baked using bread dough and finished with wasabi salt, "Shirasu Campagne" accented with the bitterness of mitsuba, and "Rape Blossom Quiche" made with rape blossoms, bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms.
Starting March 15th, four types of bread using cherry blossoms will be available for a limited time. These adorable breads will get you in the spring mood, including "Sakura Chia Seed Fougasse" with a gentle cherry blossom fragrance and a subtle saltiness, and "Sakura Mont Blanc" with cherry blossom-flavored bean paste stuffed into Danish pastry.
In addition, "Panier Sets" will be available at four locations only: Shinjuku Southern Terrace, Ikebukuro Tobu, Jazz Dream Nagashima, and Sendai, allowing you to take colorful breads to cherry blossom viewing parties, picnics, and more. The set includes a baguette, a choice of four types of bread, and a picnic basket.
