The "World Travel Wine Exhibition" will be held from February 21st to 26th at the event hall on the 6th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, showcasing wine news from over 30 countries, from legendary France to Georgia, the birthplace of wine. The two areas, World Travel Edition and Domestic Travel Edition, will offer a dreamlike world surrounded by 1,400 different wines in 360 degrees. The World Travel Edition will feature wines from Mouton Rothschild's 2007 vintage (97,200 yen, limited to three items), the 2008 Costa Sera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico (10,800 yen), which promises further ripeness, Georgia, where wine is said to have been made for approximately 8,000 years, and Indian wine, making its first appearance in Japan. The eat-in area offers cuisine from around the world, including risotto and pasta from Artisan de la Truffle, a truffle specialty shop with its main branch in Paris, stylish Indian cuisine from Sitara, as well as Italian and Thai dishes. Enjoy wines from around the world with your meal, just like traveling.
