Isetan Urawa store will be running three Valentine's Day campaigns. Events will be held at "Chocolat Mode 2018" in the 7th floor event hall, as well as on the basement food floor and the 1st floor special venue, The Stage #1.

The 7th floor event hall will host its third annual chocolate festival, "Chocolat Mode 2018," from February 7th to 15th. This time, it's a limited-time event where you can not only "eat" chocolate, but also "see, touch, and learn" about it. The "meiji THE Chocolate FARM to BAR Experience Corner" allows visitors to touch, learn, and have fun while discovering the true flavor and appeal of cacao. Six brands are available: "meiji THE Chocolate," "Cacao Hunter," "Dari K," "MANOAchocolate," "Raaka," and "ca cao." Experience Meiji's commitment from the cacao farm to the chocolate, and enjoy the aroma of freshly roasted cacao beans and freshly made cacao mass. The venue will also feature a large selection of limited-time chocolates. This includes 12 brands directly imported by Isetan, including "M.O.F," "Caramel Paris," and "Philippe Bell," as well as 16 international brands like "Jean-Paul Hévin," "Pierre Marcolini," and "Del Rey," as well as four carefully selected domestic brands: "TOKYO CHOCOLATE," "John Kanaya," "OGGI," and "Yoshino Asami." In addition to a selection of wine, spirits, and coffee, Capital Coffee and DUMBO Doughnuts and Coffee will be set up in the eat-in corner.

A special seminar will also be held exclusively at the Urawa store. "Cacao Hunter" Ogata Mayumi will be speaking at the Cacao School on February 8th and 10th from 2pm onwards, on the theme of "Exploring Cacao, Taking on the Challenge of Chocolate," and will also be speaking at the Adult After School on the theme of "Cacao Food Pairings" from 5pm. "Chocolate concierge" Hirata Sanae will be holding a seminar titled "Intoxicating Chocolate - Wine and Spirits with Chocolate Pairing Seminar" on February 11th and 12th from 2pm and 5pm, introducing a new world of enjoyment through the pairing of chocolate and alcohol. Each session is limited to 25 people, and the participation fee is 3,240 yen.
In the basement = The Stage #B1 prepared food promotion, a "Local Saitama Patisserie Special" will be held as a Valentine Station from February 7th to 14th. A total of seven stores will be participating, including Patisserie Aplanos in Musashi-Urawa, Acacia in Urawa, and Kerckschos. Additionally, a wide variety of chocolates from various brands will be on display, including Debailleul, which offers a tasteful flavor inherited from the founder's MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) pastry chef, Sils Maria's raw chocolate, which won the Grand Gold Award at the 2017 Monde Selection, and Ujien's three-piece Japanese raw chocolate set, featuring yuzu matcha, a limited-edition item for 2018. Also on the basement floor, the Japanese and Western confectionery special venue will be offering a selection of Valentine's Day limited-time items from February 7th to 14th, including an assortment of chocolates made with carefully selected Japanese ingredients by Chef Kasahara, who has received mixed reviews, and a Valentine's Day-exclusive assortment of Mont Royal's popular leaf-shaped chocolates, "Leaf Memory." On the first floor, The Stage #1, Nespresso will be hosting a Valentine's Day-exclusive tasting event from February 7th to 14th. This event will showcase the wonderful relationship between chocolate and Nespresso, a coffee made with high-quality coffee beans extracted at commercial-grade high pressure.
