
Grand Hyatt Tokyo (6-10-3 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) will be offering a variety of sweets made with seasonal autumn ingredients, including an autumn version of mosaic cake, new chestnut sweets, and Halloween sweets. At the Fiorentina Pastry Boutique on the first floor of the hotel, they will be selling "Choux aux Marrons" (600 yen), filled with a lightly sweet custard cream and cream made from fresh chestnuts; "Relais aux Marrons" (600 yen), decorated with chestnut cream and rich in the flavor of Japanese chestnuts; "Montebianco Fresco" (700 yen), a revamped version of the popular seasonal Mont Blanc, featuring a vanilla mousse with chopped chestnuts on top of hazelnut meringue and plenty of chestnut cream; "Montebianco Japonais" (650 yen), a lightly sweet Mont Blanc made with Japanese chestnuts; and "Canelé aux Marrons" (400 yen), a combination of canelés, a traditional pastry from the Bordeaux region of France, which are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and chestnuts. Sales will begin as soon as chestnuts arrive and will run until October 31st.
In addition, "Maple Pound Cake" (2,500 yen/September 1st to October 31st) accented with maple-flavored rusks will be on sale, as well as an autumn mosaic cake (12cm x 12cm, 5,000 yen/October 1st to December 31st) inspired by autumn leaves, which comes in eight flavors: chestnut, apple, pear, caramel, orange, hazelnut, coffee, and banana, and "Pear and Caramel Mousse" (700 yen per piece, 3,900 yen per whole cake/late September to October 31st) which features six layers of flavor including pear and caramel mousse, pear jelly, and camel and tonka bean brulee.
In addition, limited-edition Halloween sweets that make great party gifts will also be available. The store will be selling "Pumpkin Roll Cake" (2,200 yen) made with sugary pumpkins from Hokkaido, "Halloween Cookies" (approximately 10cm, 850 yen each) with a Halloween motif, and "Halloween Cookie Assortment" (approximately 6cm, 1,200 yen for a set of four) from mid-September until October 31st.
