From October 1st to 31st, the Hilton Tokyo's Marble Lounge on the first floor will host "Marie Antoinette La Finale," a dessert fair focusing on the carefree Queen Marie Antoinette. This fair follows on from "Marie Antoinette's Marriage," which began on July 1st and remained fully booked until its final day on September 30th. Approximately 30 menu items will be available, showcasing Marie Antoinette's glamorous life and her sudden death on the guillotine in pink and black. Passing through the rose arch at the entrance to the lounge, a glittering, glamorous world unfolds. Mirrors, chandeliers, a pink, blue, and gold wedding cake, adorable shoes, fans, and more are displayed alongside desserts. In contrast, an all-black area will also be available. Black and gold decorated cakes represent the guillotine and the tower where she was imprisoned. The sweets will be decorated in pink and pastel colors with plenty of roses, berries, and autumn fruits. They include the "French Rose" meringue, a meringue filled with raspberries and rose cream, the "Queen's Jewel Box" tart decorated with blackberries and blueberries, and the "Queen's Pearl" smooth cheesecake made with cookie dough. Other treats include "Champagne Jelly," "Charlotte Cake," and "Apple Tart." The all-black area will also feature the "Black Throne," a bittersweet fondant filled with a bright red raspberry sauce with a hint of kirsch, the "Mourning Hat Religieuse," a chocolate choux filled with cherry cream and garnished with raspberries, and the "La Reine en Douille," a caramel and milk chocolate mousse cake decorated with white lace-like chocolates. You can also enjoy around 10 kinds of gothic sweets, including black rose marshmallows, red and black cream cupcakes inspired by farewell flowers, macarons, and shortcake.
In addition, the "Eat Cake and Bread" corner offers light meals such as brioche "Tropézienne," the traditional Austrian "Kuglof," two kinds of chocolate fountains, cold marble ice cream, sandwiches, and pasta.
