LA NOSTALGIE, a sweets brand created by Hideki Eto, a former chef patissier at grand maisons, will open a permanent store on the first basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku at 10:00 AM on March 30, 2022.



Infused with a longing for the good old days of simple sweets. Sweet treats that evoke nostalgia.

LA NOSTALGIE is a sister brand of PAYSAGE, a sweets brand created by Hideki Eto, which offers seasonal desserts made with fresh ingredients, as well as the sablé series that sold out every day at Salon du Chocolat 2022, the world's largest chocolate festival. LA NOSTALGIE focuses on traditional sweets, delivering unforgettable, sophisticated flavors in a modest, understated style. The store image and packaging were created by the design studio MOMENT. The vague yet faint memories lingering deep in our hearts are transformed into abstract visuals, expressed in vibrant pastel colors.

LA NOSTALGIE Hideki Eto
Born in Tokyo in 1985. Trained at L'OASIS in La Napoule, France, and Villa des Lys in Cannes. After returning to Japan, he gained experience at BEIGE Alain Ducasse TOKYO, and has served as chef patissier at numerous renowned restaurants, including DOMINIQUE BOUCHET TOKYO, SUGALABO, and THIERRY MARX. In December 2020, he was appointed chef patissier at unis, a restaurant in Toranomon, and director patissier at Social Kitchen TORANOMON. At the same time, he launched the sweets brand "PAYSAGE" and will be exhibiting at Salon du Chocolat 2021/2022, one of the world's largest chocolate festivals. "Social Kitchen TORANOMON" occasionally holds dessert courses that showcase the deliciousness of seasonal fruits. As an up-and-coming dessert artisan, he is committed to bringing joy to people and creating special moments.
