The Michelin Guide has awarded three stars to French chef Arnaud Donckele, chef of Plénitude restaurant at the LVMH-owned Cheval Blanc Paris. This prestigious recognition marks Chef Donckele's sixth star, following his recognition of Vague d'Or restaurant at Cheval Blanc Saint-Tropez, the hotel's sister hotel in the south of France, which was awarded three stars in 2013.

Facing the Seine, Plénitude seats 26 and is a hidden space located on the second floor of the Cheval Blanc Paris. Chef Arnaud Donkel creates sauces that embody Parisian cuisine as if blending them. He treats them like a perfumer, offering dishes in which the sauce is the main focus, not a supporting role. Chef Donkel has been pursuing his unique Parisian cuisine for over three years, and he says the infinite possibilities he discovers are born from his encounters and relationships of trust with farmers and teams who share his philosophy of perfection. His dishes, created with honesty and heart, are imbued with a desire to guide guests to discover a variety of emotions. Arnaud Donkel hopes that Plénitude will be a place that serves honest and happy cuisine.
