The "2nd Mitsukoshi Isetan Food Specialty Stores Thanksgiving Festival" will be held from August 27th to September 2nd at the food section on the first basement floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
The highlight of this event is being able to enjoy collaboration products and limited-time items that only Mitsukoshi Isetan can offer.
The "Dorayaki Chocolate Bean Paste" (231 yen) was born from a collaboration between "Mikasayama" and "Mary Chocolate." The harmony of the moist texture and elegant sweetness of the dorayaki dough and chocolate is sure to breathe new life into your usual tea time.
Sweets lovers also can't miss the "Mikasayama Pain Perdu au C.B.S" (600 yen), which uses the same dorayaki dough as a pain perdu and is sandwiched between Henri Leroux's C.B.S (salted butter caramel) ice cream and paste. For coffee lovers, we recommend the "Sweet Potato Coffee Brown Sugar Stick" (300 yen), a collaboration between Capital Coffee and Matsuoka. Enjoy the ingenious combination of deep-fried sweet potato and a special brown sugar coffee sauce. If you're not a fan of sweets, how about the "Nori Cheese Baton" (600 yen), a masterpiece by Western Confectionery Shop West and Yamamoto Nori-ten? This unique dish, made with fresh butter and woven with nori seaweed, pairs perfectly with alcoholic beverages. We also recommend the "Conger Eel Roll and Genuine Tuna Marinated Nigiri Bento" (1,500 yen), a thick roll made by Ginza Tenichi, featuring conger eel from Tsukiji Suzutomi, served with Tsukiji Suzutomi's signature wild-caught tuna marinated nigiri. A wide variety of bento boxes, hamburgers, and other meals are also available. It might be fun for each family member to choose a different menu item and share a little bit.
