From September 12th to October 2nd, Hoshino Resorts Karuizawa Bleston Court will be offering "Menu Dessert Coffee Pairing" (5,000 yen), allowing you to enjoy the pairing of sweets and coffee.
"Menu Dessert Coffee Pairing" combines three types of sweets made with seasonal ingredients with unique specialty coffees. One of the three sweets, "Autumn Wind (Pear and Hojicha Crema Catalana)," is a dish with a bittersweet caramel texture that gives off a cool, crisp autumn breeze. The coffee options are "Colombia Roberto Chique," which brings out the aroma of pear, and "Brazil Irmas Dub," which complements the roasted green tea cream and caramel, and each is served in two shot glasses. Next up is "Excursion (Brioche and Kyoho Pain aux Raisins)," a dish decorated with a roll of wild grape sauce, semi-dried Kyoho grapes, hazelnut cream and sugar frosting, and cinnamon-flavored pain perdu. This is perfectly paired with the juicy and distinctively acidic Kenyan Gachata. Enjoy its refreshing, clean taste, like white wine, in a wine glass. The course concludes with "Sunset (Buckwheat Dessert Crepe)." A simply baked, sweet crepe is served with a refreshingly acidic Bramley apple puree, buckwheat-scented Chantilly, and three types of cream: burnt butter and sour cream. The coffee pairing is Ethiopia Nekise, which brings out the perfect balance between the three different sauces. Enjoy its distinctive floral aroma in a wide-bore wine glass.
You can also enjoy just the three-item sweets course (3,500 yen), or you can order the "Excursion" (1,200 yen) as a single item. All prices are exclusive of tax and service charge. *The brands of sweets and coffee may change depending on the availability of ingredients.
