On July 16th, PARCO will open a restaurant called & ecle in Aoyama, Tokyo, in collaboration with Olivier Rodriguez, former chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Signature. The address is Luce Minami-Aoyama 2F, 5-5-4 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
French chef Olivier Rodriguez served as a department chef at Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Chantecler, Les Jardins du Opera, and Enoteca Pinchiorri before moving to the Tokyo branch of Enoteca Pinchiorri in 2000 and being promoted to chef in 2001. He then became the main chef of Signature, which earned him one Michelin star in 2007 and maintained the star for seven years until his retirement. The restaurant is highly acclaimed for its artistic technique and sensibility, combining flavors, aromas, textures, and colors in a single dish, with a light, airy touch that only a French chef can offer. Olivier Rodriguez personally presides over the kitchen, offering Michelin-quality cuisine at bistro prices. One of the highlights is the "Coulicious," an original menu item developed specifically for the restaurant by Rodriguez. It offers a healthy and innovative menu, blending the distinctive French coulis, a sauce made with seasonal vegetables, with a variety of rice and cereals familiar to Japanese people. Prices range from ¥1,400 to ¥1,800 for lunch sets, ¥3,500 for lunch courses, and ¥4,500 for four-course dinners or ¥5,500 for five-course dinners. Furthermore, model and columnist Yoshiko Chris-Webb has been appointed as the opening director and ambassador. She oversaw the restaurant's overall coordination, including the naming, interior, graphics, and customer service.
