The dining area of GLASS SQUARE, located within Yebisu Garden Place, reopened on June 25th after a renovation.
GLASS SQUARE opened in 2002 as a new area for clothing, food, and living, proposing a sophisticated adult lifestyle. The renovation introduces a new concept for the dining zone, "Precious Daily Life," and in an open space filled with natural light, seven unique restaurants will be opening, catering to adults seeking a high-quality daily life, including Japanese cuisine, Californian Italian, and bistros.
One of the most notable restaurants is Salt Water by David Myers, a Californian Italian restaurant that has been awarded one Michelin star and has been selected as one of the "Top 10 Best Restaurants." Enjoy authentic cuisine in a restaurant that blends the relaxed atmosphere of the West Coast with a pleasant bustle. Also, at Ebisu Yamahan, where Iyo udon is served by a chef who studied in Sanuki and Iyo, in addition to the basic Kitsune Udon (750 yen), there is a wide variety of menu items such as Creamy Curry Udon with Shrimp Tempura and Agemochi (1,100 yen), Creamy Shrimp and Scallop Udon (980 yen), and Matsuyama Specialty Nabeyaki Udon (850 yen). At Kami Izakaya Sakutei Sakuma, run by the founder of Kanda Shinpachi, a Japanese restaurant in Kanda that is particular about the ingredients and alcohol it uses, they serve fish dishes such as Goto Nodoguro (Blackthroat Seaperch) Sashimi and Salt-Grilled (4,800 yen) and Shrimp and Bonito Flakes from Katsuura, Chiba (1,200 yen).
In addition, the seven stores in the chain will include "Aji no Gyutan Kisuke," a long-established beef tongue specialty restaurant that has made grilled beef tongue a Sendai specialty and spread it throughout the country, "BISTRO Ishikawatei," "Shoyu Wonton Noodles Ebisu," and "YEBISU WINE BAR Produced by LA VINEE & WINE MARKET PARTY."
