Product Introduction

■ A fresh and new way to enjoy yokan.
When you think of traditional yokan, the mainstream images are of it being stick-shaped, full of red bean paste, large, and cut into pieces... However, Tsuruya Yoshinobu has now created a new product, "Ka no Irodori," with the desire to make the deliciousness of yokan more accessible to everyone. By combining yokan shaped as thin as a chocolate tablet with several dried fruits, you can enjoy the gentle sweetness of yokan, the crisp texture of dried fruit, and the juicy aroma of fruit in one bite-sized piece. In addition to the fresh surprise of the flavor itself, the unique appearance, which is neither a Western confectionery nor a chocolate, adds a touch of elegance to tea time.

■ A delicious combination of flavors and aromas with every bite.
Although it looks like a square-shaped tablet chocolate, it has the softness unique to yokan, with a smooth and silky texture. As you eat it, the crispy textures of strawberry, citrus fruits, and cranberry emerge, adding an accent. You can cut it into pieces with the included toothpick, or just eat it in one bite. It goes perfectly with traditional Japanese tea, as well as coffee and black tea. Enjoy the "Colors of Fruit" in any way you like.

■ Three flavors in a chic outfit.
The navy blue presentation box, inspired by the navy blue of the "noren" curtain that is symbolic of Tsuruya Yoshinobu, is decorated with a square design that resembles the shape of yokan and an arrangement of traditional Japanese patterns, stamped with gold foil, creating a simple yet understated and luxurious package. The sparkling foil stamping adds an accent. The size is perfect for a small gift or souvenir, and is also recommended as a gift to convey your feelings on a special occasion.
Introducing three flavors

●Usubeni
Red yokan layered on top of milky white surikohaku. A cute two-layered yokan with a slight "ususubeni" color. The two crunchy/soft textures are complemented by the sweet and sour strawberry flavor, which spreads softly throughout your mouth.
(Strawberry, cranberry, pistachio x surikohaku / Beni yokan)

●Daidai
A gently sweet white yokan topped with domestically grown oranges and sweet summer oranges. The refreshing aroma of two types of dried citrus fruits creates a mellow flavor that highlights the quality of the ingredients, precisely because of this simple combination.
(Orange, sweet orange, cranberry, pistachio x white yokan)

●Chocolate
This slightly bitter chocolate-flavored yokan is made with couverture chocolate kneaded into it, and goes perfectly with the chocolate, vividly bringing out the tartness and sweet aroma of the strawberries and cranberries, for a taste perfect for adults.
(Strawberry, cranberry, pistachio × chocolate yokan)
