This is a signature event at the Hanshin Umeda Main Store, featuring approximately 300 types of ekiben, including those from 16 participating stores across Japan. Enjoy famous ekiben and nostalgic flavors, even in the Kansai region. Approximately 40 types of ekiben will be available for pre-sale on Hanshin Online Shopping from January 2nd to January 16th, and will be available for pickup at the 8th floor venue during the event.
Special bento boxes will also be available, including a small luxury bento that embodies the ekiben maker's commitment to quality, and the "Onigiri Bento" (rice ball bento), a special project celebrating the 135th anniversary of the birth of ekiben. Online, you can also find a video of a nationwide conversation between Ota buyers and ekiben makers, a top 10 recommended ekiben by "ekiben girl" Nagatarie, and a winning strategy for ekiben events by "ekiben event-loving writer" Yamagoto.
