A limited-time collaboration dessert between Frank Muller and Ginza Mitsukoshi's "Bonbonheur"

Event Date:2020.11.18-12.01
Nov 16, 2020
Swiss luxury mechanical watchmaker FRANCK MULLER will be serving a limited-edition collaborative dessert presented in an assiette from "FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM," a living space proposal by the brand, at Bon Bonheur, the French cuisine and dessert cafe on the 4th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

【BON BONHEUR x FRANCK MULLER】
An original assiette dessert (plated dessert) has been created for this collaboration, based on the themes of Bon Bonheur's "French desserts" and Franck Muller's "watches."

The dish is based on a gateau called "Saint Honore," a long-loved French pastry. Caramelized cream puffs are arranged in the shape of a clock and presented on a Franck Muller plate. Sprinkled with tuiles (thin cookie dough) modeled after Byzantine numerals, a signature Franck Muller design, the dish fuses French desserts with the world of Franck Muller, creating a delight to both look at and savour.

Coffee or tea is served in a morning cup and saucer from the same "Le Grand Bleu" series, alongside an original dessert presented on a striking 23cm plate in a deep, soft blue from the FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM morning series.

Renowned as the "philosopher of time," Franck Muller is said to have pondered the flow of time and pursued the idea of spending irreplaceable moments of happiness. Please enjoy this limited-time original dessert along with beautiful tableware that expresses the values of such times.

"L'Heure Bleue"
Availability: From Wednesday, November 18th to Tuesday, December 1st

■Le Grand Bleu by FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM■
"FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM" proposes living spaces that incorporate the worldview of FRANCK MULLER. From FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM comes the Morning Series, "Le Grand Bleu," which depicts FRANCK MULLER's signature Byzantine numerals in a beautiful blue gradation. The sky and sea have been close to humankind since ancient times. However, the blue of the sky and sea was previously impossible to grasp, and eventually became a coveted color. The blue of the sky and sea changes with time. The gradation of the Byzantine numerals expresses the ever-changing, "coveted blue" of the sky and sea using a technique called Oka dyeing.

Produced by Okura Touen, a world-renowned ceramics manufacturer in Japan. Over their century-long history, they have been committed to the beautiful white of their white porcelain. Cobalt pigment blends with the glaze on the pure white surface to create Byzantine numerals in a deep yet soft, pale blue. The lineup includes a morning cup and saucer, a 23cm plate, a versatile porridge bowl for fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more, as well as a pot, sugar, and creamer.

For a relaxing breakfast or brunch away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, enjoy a calming and relaxing moment with FRANCK MULLER FUTURE FORM's morning series, Le Grand Bleu.
