Guest chef visits Grand Hyatt Tokyo! Special menu featuring domestic pork and red wine

Mar 9, 2017

For a limited time from March 17th to 31st, Grand Hyatt Tokyo (Minato Ward, Tokyo) will be hosting a menu featuring guest chef Justin Wangler, offering a taste of various cuts of rare domestic pork.

Justin Wangler, head chef of Kendall-Jackson Winery, one of California's leading wineries, will be showcasing his skills as guest chef at steakhouse The Oak Door, showcasing his "Nose to Tail Dining" concept.

For lunch, a photogenic and hearty pork loin sandwich (2,700 yen) will be served on marble bread, a swirled dough made from a blend of rye flour, malt, oatmeal, flaxseed, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and black sesame seeds, as well as a lunch set menu (4,000 yen).

In addition, a "wine pairing dinner" (17,500 yen) will be offered, where each dish will be paired with a glass of wine (12,000 yen for food only). In addition to the crispy pork loin sandwich, the bar à la carte menu also includes sweet tea-soaked pork belly sliders (1,200 yen) and roast pork, mango and radish street-style tacos (1,300 yen).

Please note that the crispy pork loin sandwich will only be available until April 23rd.
