Starting October 10th, Hankyu Umeda Main Store and the official Hankyu Department Store online store will begin accepting reservations for Christmas cakes. A total of 93 types of Christmas cakes will be available, from popular Western confectionery brands in the department store's basement floors to popular patisseries and chocolateries in the city.
This year, we are particularly notable for the cake delivery services exclusive to Hankyu Umeda Main Store, "Area-Limited Delivery "Cake Delivery" and "Nationwide Cake Delivery "Cake Link." These services allow you to order and receive your Christmas cake from the comfort of your own home, perfectly suited to our new lifestyles.

■Order and receive from home! A new style of Christmas cake ordering
A cake delivery service that allows you to order authentic Christmas cakes online and receive them at home. This eliminates worries about cute decorations and cakes losing their shape!

○ Nationwide delivery "Cake Link by Hankyu"
A service that started in October 2020 that allows you to deliver the flavors of popular department store brands nationwide. Two types of Christmas limited edition cakes are now available.
*Delivered frozen. Can be enjoyed after thawing in the refrigerator for approximately 12 hours.

A total of 40 types of Christmas cakes are available, including cakes from popular patisseries in the Kansai region and from the Western confectionery section on the first basement floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

Aiming to create "food that is kind to both the earth and people," and to invigorate local communities with delicious food. An up-and-coming pastry chef who shares the passion of these creators who are thinking about the future of food has created a special cake using ingredients that have been painstakingly produced.

Nakahora Farm is located at an altitude of 700 to 850 meters in the Kitakami mountain range in Iwate Prefecture. Inspired by the "Yamachi Dairy Farm" run by company president Tadashi Nakahora, which entrusts everything to the cows and the laws of nature, the company has created a Christmas cake made entirely with dairy products from this farm. The cake is made with alternating layers of custard cream cooked with non-homogenized, pasteurized milk that is closest to raw milk, grass-fed butter reminiscent of the wild grass eaten by the cows, and mousseline made with fresh cream containing approximately 48% pure milk fat, sponge cake, and strawberries, all coated in fresh cream.

The chocolate used by Chocolatrie Pâtisserie Sollité, which is renowned for its chocolate cakes with beautiful glazes, is made from cacao procured through direct trade with Vietnamese cacao farmers at fair prices, and is a bitter chocolate seasoned with custom-made cacao salt, retaining the aroma and texture of cacao nibs. It has a fruity aroma and a grapefruit-like tartness. Inside is a cream made from lychee and cacao pulp juice, and pink grapefruit jelly, creating a refreshing taste.
