Positive Dream Persons, a nationwide hospitality company that creates excitement, will be selling two types of "adult shaved ice" made with carefully selected ingredients and made using the finest methods from July 2nd to August 31st at ZEN HOUSE, a restaurant on the first basement floor of the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo, located a one-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station in the heart of Tokyo.

"ZEN HOUSE" opened on March 1, 2020, with the concept of "NIPPON food that connects to the next generation," and aims to contribute to the liveliness of the Higashi Ginza area throughout the day, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and cafe time. However, due to the spread of COVID-19, we decided to shorten our business hours and temporarily close immediately after opening to prevent the spread of the virus. We have resumed partial operations on July 2nd, and will be selling shaved ice, a summer staple, for a limited time from July 2nd until August 31st, providing a refreshing spot in Ginza.

■Two types of "adult shaved ice" made with meticulous attention to ingredients and production methods
"Adult shaved ice" is a luxurious Japanese treat crafted with meticulous attention to ingredients and production methods. The "shaved ice" is made with pure, natural water pumped up from underground in Azumino, Shinshu, where the natural spring water of the majestic Northern Alps is abundant. The ice is topped with a generous sprinkling of "ama-natto," made from plumply cooked dainagon azuki beans from Hokkaido. The shaved ice is garnished with freshly made "warabi mochi" made in-house using domestically produced bracken flour.

[Even sake lovers will love our "Daiginjo Shaved Ice" - enjoy the sweetness of rice and the umami of sake combined with black sesame seeds]

A sophisticated-flavored ice cream made with the Daiginjo sake "Maboroshi" is served on top of fluffy ice shaved ice adorned with plenty of black sesame sauce and sweet azuki beans. Nakao Brewery, founded in 1871, has a unique method of brewing sake using apple yeast that has been cultivated since ancient times. Their specially selected Daiginjo sake "Maboroshi" is characterized by its mellow aroma and refreshing impression. It is an extremely elegant dish. This plate allows you to enjoy a variety of textures, including crispy tuiles made with pure black sesame seeds without any additives, and warabi mochi (bracken-starch dumplings) made with real bracken powder.

Contents: Shaved ice, warabi mochi, tuile (cookie), condensed milk

It is topped with matcha ice cream made with fresh milk from cows raised in the fertile soil of the Nobeyama Plateau, located 1,300 meters above sea level at the eastern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. Combined with warabi mochi made in-store using domestically produced bracken flour, this is a high-quality Japanese sweet.

■About "Modern Satoyama Cuisine ZEN HOUSE"
*To commemorate the reopening of business, we will be giving away seasonal sweets to customers who make a reservation for lunch in July only.
1. Seasonal ingredients from all over Japan are given a modern twist, incorporating Japanese food culture and a variety of cooking methods.

At "ZEN HOUSE," we use seasonal ingredients sourced from all over Japan and incorporate a variety of techniques, including Japanese and French cuisine, to create "modern satoyama cuisine" that makes the most of the bounty of nature. As a place where you can experience the "satoyama philosophy"* of Japanese food culture, which we want to preserve, and where you can have a nostalgic yet new encounter and discovery, we carefully select the best things from all over Japan, the "food" that deserves to be protected, and share it with the world.
*The "satoyama philosophy" is the idea of cherishing, preserving, and passing on the blessings and traditions of the land.

2. The "Kadouchi" counter blends natural materials like wood and stone with modern furnishings.

The dining room's iconic black plaster counter offers casual dining, where you can enjoy carefully selected sake and shochu from all over Japan, along with snacks that complement the drinks perfectly. It's a great place for a variety of occasions, not just for dining, but also for women traveling alone, those staying at the hotel, or simply enjoying a drink after a meal at another establishment. The unique atmosphere, which combines Japanese culture with a modern twist, includes artwork lovingly drawn by calligraphers, dynamic bonsai sculptures, ceramics, furniture, and noren curtains that evoke Japanese culture and history, creating a unique atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a moment away from the hustle and bustle outside.
3. Monthly changing afternoon tea

During cafe time, you can enjoy afternoon tea. We offer seasonal desserts such as Japanese sweets and fruit tarts, as well as free-to-enjoy sencha tea from all over Japan and Ronnefeldt tea, making it the perfect place to stop by after shopping in Ginza or going to the theater.

4. A sales corner packed with Japanese food culture

At the entrance to the store, we sell products from our original brand "KANDOU NIPPON," which is packed with Japanese food culture. We have a wide lineup of dashi stock, soy sauce, and other products that are actually served in the store.
