AKOMEYA Bento Marunouchi Building will be rebranding its lineup, centered around "onigiri" (rice balls) made with rice selected by AKOMEYA TOKYO from all over Japan and cooked in the in-store kamado (Japanese rice cooker). Customizable with side dishes, they're perfect for takeout. 
 

No-Grill "Onigiri"
 
From washing the rice to soaking and cooking it, each step is carefully calculated before being cooked in a kamado (Japanese rice cooker) every morning. The rice is not tightly pressed, allowing air to permeate each grain, and is gently held together with nori seaweed. With just one bite, the rice falls apart, revealing the rice's natural, refined sweetness and delicious flavor.
 
 
You won't be disappointed no matter what part you eat
 
The rice balls are filled with a variety of "rice accompaniments" selected by AKOMEYA TOKYO from all over the country. No effort is spared to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed all the way to the edges so that the rice balls can be enjoyed from the first bite to the last.
 
 
Kontobi - Nori Seaweed from the Ariake Sea
This type of nori seaweed is loved by gourmets and is made from the naturally occurring green nori found in the sea. The refined aroma of the seashore, which is slightly bitter and sweet, is a taste that is reminiscent of traditional nori seaweed.
 
"Uminchu no Moshio" from the Setouchi region
The mellow flavor of this natural salt, made with great care in every pot, is truly the unsung hero that supports its deliciousness.

We have newly introduced "side dishes" that are perfect for lunch, packed with small portions of various side dishes such as fried chicken and grilled salted mackerel. Each "side dish" contains a sweet omelet that is cooked fresh in-house daily using AKOMEYA TOKYO's broth.
