Starting September 1, 2023, THE LOUNGE at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi will be offering an afternoon tea featuring the mellow sweetness of Shine Muscat grapes and seasonal autumn ingredients.

This original THE LOUNGE dessert combines the fresh texture and juicy sweetness of Japanese pears with the rich aroma of Western pears. Pear compote with cinnamon and star anise is enveloped in pear mousse, creating a dish that allows you to enjoy the rich flavors of autumn. Furthermore, the rich cream made with pear is accented with the tartness of Shine Muscat grapes, creating a delicate flavor that weaves together the flavors of Japanese and Western fruits.
 
 
Muscat Vacherin & Kyoho Shortcake
A luxurious dessert that allows you to enjoy two popular grape varieties, Shine Muscat and Kyoho, together. The meringue is filled with Muscat jam and a hidden white chocolate cream that brings out the sweetness of the fruit, allowing you to enjoy a rich flavor and a refreshing Muscat flavor that lingers in your mouth. The glass is layered with Kyoho grapes, which can be eaten with the skin on, and Kyoho grape jelly, allowing you to savor the sweetness of the grapes until the last bite.
 

The hotel's banquet chef, Kuze Kensuke, is in charge of five savory dishes that bring out the flavors of seasonal autumn ingredients. He skillfully uses both Japanese and Western ingredients, and the elegant flavors and meticulous decorations create a savory dish that is overflowing with the luxurious feel you can only find at a hotel.

As you step onto the 39th floor, floor-to-ceiling windows will reveal a spectacular view of the lush greenery of the Imperial Palace grounds, and on clear days, all the way to Mount Fuji. At The Lounge, you can enjoy a beautiful view and dining experience to suit the time of day and the occasion, with a selection of Japanese teas chosen by a tea sommelier, afternoon tea featuring beautifully presented sweets and savory dishes incorporating Japanese ingredients created by our executive pastry chef, creative desserts, and cocktails and course meals in the evening.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is a luxury hotel that opened in Otemachi, Tokyo in September 2020. It is located on the top six floors of the Otemachi One Tower, which is directly connected to the Otemachi subway station. Ranging in size from 49 square meters to 283 square meters, the 190 guest rooms, including 20 suites, offer dynamic city views of Tokyo and the greenery of the Imperial Palace, and are spaces that combine functionality and comfort.
