The pastry shop on the first floor of Andaz Tokyo in Toranomon Hills, Tokyo, will be accepting reservations for Christmas cakes again this year from November 1st to December 19th. An early unveiling event was held, so we report on it here.

This Mont Blanc is made with ruby chocolate, known as the fourth type of chocolate. The outside is a rich marriage of ruby chocolate and chestnut cream, and matcha and chestnut cream, and as you continue eating, you will encounter the sweet and sour griotte cherry and raspberry jelly hidden in the fresh cream inside.The contrast with the crunchy texture of the almond meringue at the bottom creates a new Mont Blanc that overturns previous concepts. The pink and green look is also charming!

This dome-shaped chocolate cake is covered in hazelnut dark chocolate balls. Inside is a caramel-flavored chocolate mousse, which is further filled with berry rhubarb jelly and crème brûlée. The base is made of Saint-Farine chocolate, a flourless chocolate base, and the top is topped with fresh cream and raspberries. Enjoy the delicate interplay of flavors and textures that's unexpected from its appearance.

A cheesecake for grown-ups, made with a mix of Brie and cream cheese. In addition, the popular Christmas-only eclairs are back again this year. Flavors include Christmas pudding, authentic dark chocolate made with rare Belize cacao, cherry & raspberry, orange chocolate, pistachio, and ruby Mont Blanc, for a total of six flavors. Also available is a Christmas lollipop set featuring three flavors: apple (Earl Grey), Christmas tree (matcha), and snowman (strawberry). All of these sweets are perfect as gifts that can only be enjoyed this season, or as souvenirs for a home party!

In addition, the pastry shop will be selling five gift sets from November 19th to December 25th: "Hamper Boots" (2,000 yen), "Humber Sled" (2,100 yen), two sizes of boxes (small/3,000 yen, large/6,000 yen), and "Hamper Basket" (7,000 yen), which combine many popular original sweets such as financiers and chocolate cookies.
The Christmas cakes will be on sale from December 20th until Christmas Day, the 25th.
