Tsukanomano Food Court, a food court for adults featuring a diverse selection of trending restaurants, will open in Shinsen, Shibuya, on October 12th for a limited period of approximately four months.


The new food court, housed in a vacant building scheduled for demolition next spring, is a "new food court" for adults where you can casually enjoy unique dishes and drinks, plate by plate, in unlimited quantities. Enjoy delicious food in a kitchen staffed by cutting-edge chefs, including establishments aiming to create new genres and food and beverage units that do not normally operate their own stores.

During the four-month period, fairs with different themes will be held each week, including "Spice Night," "Neo-Japanese," "Thai Food," and "Taco Party." Three to four stores will be gathering at any one time at the fair, experimenting with a variety of food genres.


Scheduled to open include "Chawari," a tea cocktail specialty store that has been featured in "Tokyo Calendar" and "Terrace House" and is currently a hot topic, where you can enjoy 100 different types of tea cocktails; "MARKET KHAOYAM," Japan's first store specializing in the traditional southern Thai dish "Khao Yam," where you can enjoy ethnic rice plates that can be eaten like a salad; and "the OPEN," the store that sparked the lemon sour trend. There will also be a non-alcoholic specialty store, a collaboration between Tanaka Kai of "BOOK" and "Tomo Cola," the pioneer of craft cola, "Madai Ramen," a specialty store for sea bream bone ramen that uses a whole sea bream bone for each serving, with a rich, concentrated flavor, and "farmanic x Yamato Imanishi," a new generation French restaurant created in collaboration between Chef Yamato, who returned to Japan after training at the hugely popular Parisian restaurants "Septim" and "Le Chateaubriand," and Okayama's next generation farmer, Farmanic. The fair theme and stall schedule will be announced from mid-September onwards.


In advance of the opening, the food court has been recruiting initial members since September 11th through the crowdfunding site Makuake (https://www.makuake.com/project/tsukanomano). In return, the food court is looking for members who will enjoy dishes that can only be eaten at this food court and will help create a new food culture together. "Tsumamigui Members" are special members who will have the right to order at member prices throughout the opening period and receive one free drink every time they visit. "Ajimi Members" are trial members who will have the right to order up to three food items at member prices throughout the opening period and receive up to three free drinks.
