Collaboration with Artists

And for this latest collaboration, the magazine has chosen painter Shinagawa Ryo. The art pieces, which make use of the techniques of Japanese painting and are featured under the direction theme of "ARTY GRAPHIC," are a truly intriguing combination with contemporary fashion.

Shinagawa Ryo

Born in Osaka in 1987. Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design Graduate School in 2016. Exchange student at the Geneva University of Art and Design Painting Course in 2012. Lived in Italy in 2008. He has exhibited his works in Japan, Seoul, Taipei and other parts of Asia, as well as in Basel and New York, including at "Apotic Utopia (Hotel Anteroom Kyoto / Kyoto)" and "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2019 (The Museum of Kyoto / Kyoto)."

Storefronts Reflecting the World of the Catalog

The Art Frame on the 3rd floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building is showcasing a display showcasing the world of "Excellent Woman," which will be on display until July 23rd. Additionally, mannequins dressed in the same outfits as those featured in the catalogs will also be on display in each brand's storefront (though some of the details may differ). Be sure to check them out along with the catalog.
