Daisanmanendo, a long-established Japanese confectionery shop with its main store in Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture, which has been in business for around 360 years, is opening a new brand, Daisanmanendo HANARE, at Awajicho Waterras Mall in Kanda, Tokyo, on June 19th.

With the keywords "Japanese-Western fusion" and "learning from the past to create something new," the shop will offer "adorable Japanese sweets" that combine Japanese and Western confectionery. They will offer healthy menu items that you won't feel guilty about eating.

"Dorapan" (from left): Red Bean Butter (450 yen), Strawberry Pistachio (500 yen), Hojicha Chocolate (500 yen), and Fried Egg (450 yen)
Their signature original sweet, "Dorapan" (450-500 yen), was created in collaboration with Glico Nutrition Foods Co., Ltd. and is a cute-looking hybrid Japanese dessert made with chewy rice flour bread sandwiched with Daisan Mannendo's secret recipe red bean paste, soy milk cream, strawberries, and more. The lineup comes in four flavors: "Red Bean Butter," "Strawberry Pistachio," "Hojicha Chocolate," and "Fried Egg." "Amazake Cheese Tea" Pudding Cheese Tea (750 yen) "Amazake Cheese Tea" is also available. Made with carefully selected domestic tea leaves, such as Japanese black tea and matcha, it is topped with a rich cheese cream made from amazake (sweet sake) and mascarpone cream. The tea is a delightful treat for women, as it uses amazake, also known as a "drinkable beauty drip," and soy milk cream, which is lower in calories than fresh cream.

In addition to high-quality Japanese tea made with carefully selected domestic tea leaves, including the restaurant's original "Gyokuro," the restaurant also offers an extensive food menu, including "Obanzai" (1,200 yen), a healthy Japanese set meal created in collaboration with "Tsukiji Deli," a Tsukiji antenna shop produced by a long-established beef store, and "Tofu Meshi" (1,000 yen), which is rice topped with tofu and stewed beef tendon.

There is also a sales corner where you can find items perfect for gifts, such as "Sake Kasu Tera" (sales 2,100 yen / eat-in 680 yen), a collaborative sweet with Hokkaido's "Kamikawa Taisetsu Sake Brewery," and "Sake Kasu Roll" (sales 1,600 yen / eat-in 630 yen).
