Lemon Sour Festival is being held in Osaka! All stores are participating for the first time, and a huge collection of specialty lemon sours are on display.

The lemon sour-focused event "Lemon Sour Festival 2019 IN Osaka," which has attracted a total of over 90,000 people, will be held for two days on May 17th and 18th at Minatomachi River Place.


All seven of the participating stores will be appearing at the event for the first time. "Uoya Stand Ura Tennoji Sushi Center," located in a deep back alley of Tennoji, will be selling items such as "Frozen Lemon Sour with Fresh Lemon" (500 yen including tax) and "Seafood Clam Chowder Bread (with Shrimp)" (400 yen including tax), which is the perfect complement to lemon sour. "Sakaba Lemon," which offers a drink menu centered around lemon sours and reasonably priced bar dishes using lemon, will be introducing dishes such as the "Subtle Peach Lemon Sour" (500 yen including tax) and "Sakaba Lemon's Specialty Lemon Mapo Tofu" (800 yen including tax). "Sour Specialty Shop Umeda Chuhai 35," which serves exquisite sours made with fresh fruit juice squeezed to order, will be selling dishes such as the "Okinawa Salt Lemon Sour" (500 yen including tax) and "Juicy Deep-fried Okutanba Chicken Thigh" (500 yen including tax). "Torichodashi Oden and Dried Fish Shop Taisakuba Hoshitora Yodoyabashi Branch," a popular bar boasting dried fish and oden served in a traditional Japanese house, will be selling dishes such as the "Hoshitora's Specialty Crunchy Lemon Sour" (500 yen including tax) and "Whole Tomato Oden" (400 yen including tax).


Freshly squeezed chuhai specialty store Juso Sour, which always has more than 20 different types of sour drinks on the menu, sells drinks such as "Salt Lemon Sour Rich" (500 yen including tax) and "Black Wagyu Beef with Green Onion Shank Chojang" (500 yen including tax). Yumedokoro Fisherman's Meal Zakoya, located in landlocked Kyoto City without a port, specializes in seafood and offers the combination of fisherman's cuisine, Kyoto, and lemon sour, and has introduced drinks such as "Koicha Lemon Sour" (500 yen including tax) and "Tuna Minced Cutlet Burger" (500 yen including tax). Yakiniku Hormone Sakaba Oto-kichi, a yakiniku restaurant specializing in tongue and skirt steak, will be selling a variety of lemon sours, including the "Silky Lemon Sour" (500 yen including tax), developed to enhance the flavor of yakiniku. The "King of Lemon Sour Competition" will be held at the venue, where visitors will vote to determine the most popular lemon sour at each venue. Participants can participate by using the coaster ballot provided with their lemon sour purchase. Additionally, a raffle will be held for a chance to win luxurious prizes by posting on social media with the hashtags "#LemonSourFest," "#KingOfLemonSour," or "#TakaraShochu." Additionally, there will be a booth offering free samples of Takara Shuzo's Takara "Exquisite Lemon Sour," the event's "official beverage," as well as a booth offering 100 different lemon sours.
