■An edition that embodies the aromas that fill the city on Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead is one of Mexico's most iconic holidays. The traditions associated with this time of year faithfully reflect the unique character of Mexico. As a guardian of Mexican culture, Clace Azul conveys the heartwarming story of Mexico to the world by expressing the charm of this celebration in the form of a decanter.

During Day of the Dead, Mexican cities and homes are filled with a sea of aromas. Altars for the deceased are decorated with copal incense, elaborate dishes, and orange cempasuchils (marigolds). Markets are overflowing with fruits, spices, and sweets. A scent that awakens the senses fills the air. The aromas envelop us, leaving unforgettable footprints and evoking fragrant landscapes that any Mexican can recognize even with their eyes closed.

■Añejo Tequila Aged 25 Months and Finished in Armagnac Barrels
The blend development for this edition was overseen by Classeazur's Master Distiller, Viridiana Tinoco, and the tequila was aged in American whiskey barrels before being finished in Armagnac barrels, for a total of 25 months. Armagnac is France's oldest registered appellation of origin. This edition is crafted in barrels that aged Armagnac made from grapes grown in the Basse-Armagnac region, characterized by its siliceous mudstone soil, and is characterized by its fine, complex fruit aromas.

The use of casks for this edition aligns with Clase Azul Mexico's values: Armagnac's small-scale production, its respect for the region's history and heritage, and its ancient knowledge and traditions. This unique aging process results in a tequila characterized by aromas of peach, pear, raisin, candied walnut, toasted wood and clove, with tasting notes of peach, walnut, clove and cocoa, ending with a long, luxurious finish of cocoa and cinnamon.

■An elaborately designed decanter inspired by marigold flowers
The decanter is inspired by cempasuchil (marigold) flowers, and is covered in a beautiful marigold-colored glaze that deepens in color as it approaches the bottom. The back features an illustration by Mexican artist Ximena Estivalis that depicts the cempasuchil harvest.

Masked figures are seen gathering flowers from the ground and reaching out in rapt attention to catch flowers falling from the sky. Flanking them are Xolo dogs, a symbol of ancient Mexico's belief that they accompany the souls of the dead to the afterlife. The front of the piece is adorned with a 24-karat gold medallion, handcrafted over two weeks by artisans at the Milagros de Raton workshop in Mexico.
