Chocolatier Palet d'Or, a specialty chocolate brand by chocolatier Saegusa Shunsuke, who makes authentic chocolate from cacao beans, will begin selling the sake chocolate cup dessert "Crème Chocolat Dassai" from December 27, 2022.

A new variety has been added to the cup-type chocolate dessert "Crème Chocolat," which went on sale this summer. "Creme Chocolat Dassai" is a cup dessert with a creamy ganache base made with Yamaguchi Prefecture's sake "Junmai Daiginjo Dassai 23% Polished," and is finished to allow for an even smoother texture. On a cold winter's day, enjoying a cold dessert in a warm room is a blissful moment. Of course, you can chill it in the refrigerator, but we also recommend freezing it in the freezer and eating it like ice cream.

Representative Director Saegusa Shunsuke
 
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1956. He studied under the late Toshikazu Yasui, a leading figure in the world of Western confectionery, at the prestigious Hotel Plaza in Osaka.
In 1996, he met the late Maurice Bernachon, a master chocolatier from Lyon, France, and after receiving his training as a chocolatier, opened the authentic chocolate specialty store "Chocolatier Palet d'Or" in Osaka in 2004 and in Tokyo in 2007.
In 2014, he started "Artisan Palet d'Or Kiyosato," a bean-to-bar workshop that handles the entire process in-house, from cocoa beans to chocolate.
In order to perfect chocolate, he closed all of his Western confectionery brands.
In 2019, he opened the white chocolate bean-to-bar brand "Chocolatier Palet d'Or Blanc" in Aoyama.
April 2021: "Chocolatier Palet d'Or GINZA" opens in Ginza 5-chome.
