Conrad Tokyo will be hosting a Strawberry Sweets Buffet from January 12th to April 5th, 2019, featuring an array of domestically grown strawberries to get you in the spring spirit. Additionally, the popular weekday-only lunch buffet, Chef's Favorites, will be introducing a new main dish starting January 2nd.


This year's Strawberry Sweets Buffet is themed around the UK, France, and Belgium, and will feature sweets and original savory dishes made with carefully selected premium ingredients, inspired by the sweets and food cultures of each country. Not only will you enjoy the vibrant, pop-style appearance, but each carefully crafted item is packed with the chef's ideas and attention to detail.


The variety of both sweets and savory dishes has been increased, with a lineup of 12 sweets and 6 savory dishes that will allow you to enjoy not only fresh, seasonal domestic strawberries but also the deliciousness of strawberries to the fullest.

The sweets include British trifle, French choux parisien, Belgian waffles and Belgian chocolate, while the savory dishes include British fish and chips, French eclairs and foie gras flan, all packed with the deliciousness of strawberries, arranged in Conrad style. You can also enjoy playful original items such as beer-steamed mussels inspired by Belgian beer.


The popular weekday lunch buffet, "Chef's Favorites," will be revamping its main dishes starting January 2, 2019, introducing an appealing menu themed around "grilled and Kamakura vegetables." Chef Yasuharu Yoneyama, head chef of modern French restaurant "Collage" and all-day dining restaurant "Cerise," is originally from Kanagawa and fell in love with Kamakura vegetables. Starting this year, he will be serving fresh, flavorful, seasonal Kamakura vegetables, carefully grown in Kamakura's mineral-rich soil.

The main dishes feature premium, seasonal ingredients, including carefully selected meat and fish, to maximize their flavor when grilled or roasted. Enjoy salads made with an abundance of seasonal ingredients, a wide variety of tapas, and desserts selected from the "Strawberry Sweets Buffet," which will be held from January.

The "Strawberry Sweets Buffet" allows you to enjoy strawberries to your heart's content, and "Chef's Favorites" is a new addition to the menu, featuring grilled and Kamakura vegetables.
