Shiseido Parlour to hold special fruit parfait fair! Peaches, mangoes, and summer/autumn strawberries available

Event Date:2018.07.01-08.31
Jun 26, 2018
Shiseido Parlour will be holding the "2018 Midsummer Parfait Fair" at the Salon de Cafe in their Ginza flagship store. The fair will be divided into two periods: the first from July 1st to July 31st, and the second from August 1st to August 31st. Each period will feature three different parfaits, totaling six, each featuring carefully selected fruits from specific regions and in season.

The six parfaits offered at this fair are made with the desire to ensure that each and every last bite is delicious, and each glass is filled to the brim with fruit jelly, fruit compote, and more. The key to the presentation is the adorable ball-shaped fruit jelly. The first batch of parfaits will include four varieties: Arakawa peach, apple mango, and blueberry, plus the "Summer and Autumn Strawberry "Koihime" Strawberry Parfait (regular version/low-sugar version)" made with strawberries grown in Shiseido Parlour's dedicated greenhouse in Nagano Prefecture.

Arakawa Peach Parfait from Sakai Farm, Wakayama Prefecture (2,160 yen including tax)
The "Arakawa Peach Parfait from Sakai Farm, Wakayama Prefecture" (2,160 yen including tax) uses Arakawa Peaches, a brand that represents Wakayama, known for their mellow fragrance and juicy juice. While these peaches are extremely rare and difficult to obtain in Tokyo, they are lavishly presented with fresh, fully ripe peaches that are carefully picked one by one and used in homemade pink sorbet and jelly.

Apple Mango Parfait from Iriomote Island, Okinawa (2,580 yen including tax)
The "Apple Mango Parfait from Iriomote Island, Okinawa" (2,580 yen including tax) is a parfait made with apple mangoes from Iriomote Island, Okinawa, which are characterized by their elegant sweetness, moderate acidity, and rich flavor. The homemade milk ice cream and berry sauce add even more depth to the dish.

Gifu Prefecture, Ibi District Blueberry Parfait (1,980 yen including tax)
The "Gifu Prefecture, Ibi District Blueberry Parfait" (1,980 yen including tax) is a parfait with chic colors that will make you feel like a grown-up.
Large blueberries, with a crunchy texture and packed full of flavor, are used in the sorbet, cream, and jelly, and the homemade milk ice cream further enhances the sweetness and tartness of the blueberries.

Koihime Strawberry Parfait from Shinshu Hatakobo, Nagano Prefecture (1,890 yen including tax)
Also worth checking out is the "Koihime Strawberry Parfait from Shinshu Hatakobo, Nagano Prefecture" (1,890 yen including tax), which uses "Koihime" summer and autumn strawberries harvested in Shiseido Parlour's dedicated greenhouse at Shinshu Hatakobo. You can enjoy the refreshing tartness of summer and autumn strawberries.
A low-sugar version of Koihime Strawberry Parfait (1,890 yen including tax) is also available. While keeping the decorations the same, the sugar content has been reduced to 10g through clever preparation of the ice cream and sauce, making it recommended for people who are concerned about sugar content. The sugar content has been calculated by the Food, Fun and Health Association (based on the available carbohydrates in the 7th edition of the Standard Tables of Food Composition).

The second round, starting on August 1st, will feature parfaits of fig, golden peach, white peach, and Keitt mango in addition to Koihime.

Why not enjoy a gorgeous parfait adorned with carefully selected fruits?
