The Westin Tokyo is hosting a "Summer Dessert Buffet & Global Cakes," featuring sweets and summer desserts from around the world. It will be available only on weekdays from August 1st to 31st at the international restaurant, "The Terrace." 

The dessert buffet, themed on "Global Cakes," which hasn't been held in recent years, is back for one month only. This time, two types of "Global Cakes" are available: traditional flavors and sweets created using summer fruits. Guests can enjoy a wider variety of sweets from around the world than ever before.

Traditional cakes include the gorgeous red Italian dessert "Zuppa Inglese," presented in Westin style. Similarly, the Italian "Baba au Rhum," which is flavored with rum raisins, is an adult dessert with a mellow rum flavor. Other European treats include Austrian Sachertorte, Belgian Miserables, and French Opera and Fabreton. Asian sweets include coffee jelly inspired by Vietnamese coffee, made with bitter coffee and plenty of condensed milk and fresh cream.

Summery bavarois and panna cotta made with summer fruits such as mango, passion fruit, and pineapple will also be available. The summer dessert selection is also extensive, with a more luxurious version of Hong Kong's popular coconut mango sago, and rich mango pudding packed with fruit.
