Berry Berry Pancakes with Berry Butter (1,500 yen)
The limited-edition "Berry Berry Pancakes with Berry Butter" recipe changes the pancake topping. While the usual pancakes use multiple berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.), this version uses only strawberries. The new flavors, "Shiso (Murame)," "Matcha," and "Pistachio," are balanced to create a visually appealing change. The pistachio adds a fragrant yet mellow sweetness to the refreshing tartness of the strawberry, while the murame adds just the right amount of spice to enhance the overall flavor, creating a deeper, more intimate experience. The pancake batter and homemade berry butter recipes remain the same, and will be available throughout the period as a menu that allows you to fully enjoy berries.
The dish design was inspired by the recent overseas food trend of "microgreens." "Microgreens" refers to young leafy vegetables such as sprouts, herbs, and murame, and are attracting attention overseas as a highly nutritious food ingredient.
Similar to "edible flowers," which have been increasingly adopted in Japan in recent years, using "microgreens" as a topping for various dishes has become extremely popular among "health-conscious" people as it provides a higher level of nutrition. Similarly, they are also popular among photogenic people, who see them as a way to make meals more colorful. Microgreens are attracting attention as a versatile item that meets the needs of people by satisfying the keywords of recent food trends - healthy and photogenic.
