Saint-Germain Elderflower Café by LADIES & GENTLEMEN will be open for a limited time from March 28th to April 12th at Bistro Café LADIES & GENTLEMEN on the third floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building.
The café will offer a variety of cocktails based on Saint-Germain, the liqueur making its first appearance in Japan, along with a food menu. This liqueur is made with 100% hand-picked natural elderflower, a type of herb that has long been popular in Europe and America. Its flavor is characterized by a refined sweetness reminiscent of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and pear. It has been highly praised around the world, often used in cocktails at international cocktail competitions.
The premium bottle offered this time features a vintage design reminiscent of artwork from the Art Deco era. The enameled cap and the inscription of the elderflower harvesting date are just a few of the many touches of French artisan craftsmanship.
Main menu items include the "Saint Germain Cocktail" (1,300 yen), "Saint Germain Soda" (900 yen), and "Saint Germain de Flore" (1,000 yen). The interior décor is inspired by the Saint-Germain area of Paris, a popular gathering place for artists, gourmets, and other cultural figures.
Bistro Cafe Ladies & Gentlemen is produced by French bistro expert Takemasa Kinoshita, with cakes produced by Sadaharu Aoki of the world-leading patisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris. Guests can enjoy dynamic teppanyaki dishes cooked right before their eyes and an assortment of six cake plates.
